New ICPA benefits will help members

I’d like to introduce two new members benefits and one that is already a major member benefit but which has had a major revamp. First up is the challenger bank Coconut. Those of you who attended our Practice Evolution conferences in London and Manchester in June and July will be familiar with Coconut, as MD Sam O’Connor proved a big success when he presented at both venues.

The ICPA have teamed up with Coconut and have helped them in recent months to develop their offering. As a result, we are pleased to be able to say that all ICPA members can now give their clients a Coconut bank account FREE for six months. And with prices thereafter in the region of £5 per month, your clients can give you access to their records via the Coconut portal at NO COST to you. So a business bank account FREE to our clients for six months that we can fully access without the need of any other software and at no cost to us – an obvious and major benefit to ICPA members. Check out Coconut’s article on page 13 and check out our website.

Second up, I’m bringing back into the domain, as it were, a recent favourite that has had little publicity in the last year or so and that’s GDPR. Yes GDPR, it hasn’t gone away, and while the last year has been very quiet in terms of cases brought they are starting to ratchet up the compliance aspect. Put simply, I don’t want any ICPA member to have a problem with what is a complex issue. This is why we have teamed up with IcaaS, the GDPR management company, to provide a monster 25% discount on their standard monthly package. A package that is only £9.99 a month before our very special 25% discount – and what a great package it is. So now with ICPA and iCaaS you can alleviate your GDPR worries, and give expert advice to your clients. Again, check out their article in this magazine (page 10) and also our webite.

Finally, I want to mention a long-time ICPA favourite, and that’s the offer of a direct debit facility for ICPA members from our good friends at L&Z. We have sat down and discussed this with them and we have agreed to pay the set-up fees for any ICPA member (which was £199). So now you can have a DD collection system for no initial outlay.

The ICPA want the best for our members and we think L&Z are the best (see page 30). So why not get into collecting your fees via a DD for absolutely nothing, thanks to ICPA?
