The biggest accountancy show rolls into town this May as yet again Accountex hits ExCel in London. We have attended since the inception of Accountex and 2018 is no different. The ICPA team will be there at stand 893 and I’ll be presenting on one of the theatres at a date and time yet to be released.
This year there are 16 theatres featuring 149 experts and more than 200 exhibitors. Which means it is not a good idea to just rock up and browse, because the chances are you will miss something worthwhile.
Best advice is to check out the website for the list of exhibitors and pick those that you definitely want to visit and mark them on the floorplan. Then look at the speakers and decide which you don’t want to miss and make a note of timings and the theatre they are appearing in.
As for the presentations, all the usual suspects are in attendance including myself, but why not take in someone that you have never seen before? That might even be me, and it would be great if you came along and to my presentation, ‘The Rocky road to success: How small practices can punch above their weight’.
If I get the time I might check in on the ‘Accountancy Futurist’, to find out the date for the 2019 shows if nothing else.
